PLANT HEALTH E-DOMERO TERMS AND CONDITIONS


INTRODUCTION
General

The Plant Health e-Domero System allows persons engaged in plant health activities to submit application(s) for Plant Health services over the Internet and view records online.

Registration & Enrolment

You can register and enrol for the Plant Health e-Domero System using the 'eDomero Register & Enrol' link. If you register and enrol using the 'eDomero Register & Enrol' link, the details you provide to enrol for a service will be passed to the Government Gateway for verification (on behalf of APHA). If successful, your registration details, including your name and e-mail address (optional), will be stored securely on the Government Gateway system, in accordance with the Government Gateway privacy policy. You can view the Government Gateway privacy policy on the Government Gateway web pages at https://www.ete.access.service.gov.uk/privacy-notice. Your e-mail address, if provided, may be used by the Government Gateway to communicate with you and to forward messages to you in relation to other Government online services if you choose to enrol for these services.

User ID & Password

Your User ID and Password will be held securely on the Government Gateway and will not be made available to Government Departments. The Government Gateway uses the postal address registered on the Plant Health e-Domero System to send you confirmation of your User ID. After the Government Gateway has sent this information, your address will be deleted from the Government Gateway .

Login

When registered, you can login on the Plant Health e-Domero On-Line System using your User ID and Password (or digital certificate) to access the services. Your encrypted User ID and Password will be passed to the Government Gateway for authentication.

Making an application

An authenticated application form sent over the internet and accepted by APHA’s systems has the same legal validity and implications as a signed paper application delivered to APHA Plant Health and Seeds Inspectorate.

Data Protection Act

APHA have a legal duty to protect your information.  We maintain strict security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorised access to your data.  We use leading technologies including digital certificates and encryption to further safeguard your data. 

Any data supplied by you on the Plant Health eDomero System will be processed in accordance with the terms and conditions for the service(s) applied for.  These are specified, and must be agreed to before processing your application (s). 

De-enrolment

If you no longer wish to be enrolled for the eDomero on line system, you can de-enrol by selecting the 'eDomero Login for Registered users' link and then select the 'Logon and manage my account option'. Once logged in select Manage my Services to de-enrol.

Security

You must always keep your User ID and Password safe and secret. If you have forgotten your password, to Self-Serve click Here, select Logon to the application (Next) and I have forgotten my password. In order to Self-Serve, you will need to have previously set up a Recovery Word. If you have not done so or do not remember your Recovery Word, please contact planthealth.info@apha.gov.uk or telephone 0190 440 5138 to have your password reset. Please note that users will be locked out of their account if they enter the wrong user ID or password 3 times. Their account will be unlocked after 2 hours. Helpdesk advisers can’t help unlock this.

General

We may revise these terms and conditions as we develop our services. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that we may:

  • use this Internet service for any part of our dealings with you in relation to any of the services you are enrolled for;
  • withdraw or add services and features or change the way in which you may access those services without prior notice - although we shall try to give you notice of any changes.

Virus Protection

We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material derived from this website.

Intellectual Property

The names, images and logos identifying APHA, UK online, government departments, third parties and their information, products and services are proprietary marks of the Crown and/or third parties.  Copying or use of our logos and/or any other third party logos accessed via this website is not permitted without prior approval from the relevant copyright owner.
