The way you make export applications for Plants Growing Season Inspections and Plants Soil Sampling has changed. The Plant Health Export Service (PHES) is live and should now be used to make these applications. If you are new to PHES, register now for the Plant Health Export Service from the link below to continue to make applications. If you already use PHES you can continue to use your existing account – there is no need to re-register.

Produce from the Americas (including the Caribbean) of Cucurbitaceae (e.g. squash, courgette, cucumber, melons), and asparagus now require advanced notification of import via PEACH or IPAFFS in order to clear customs. Delays in notification may lead to delays in clearance and so importers are reminded to make these in good time.
